Jonathan Glancey for the BBC's worldwide selection of 'a great year in architecture' said the project, for which Skelly & Couch carried out full environmental design, is 'Throughout ...a meticulous and thoughtful renewal and remodelling'. The Observer's Rowan Moore described the building as one of a number of 'concrete marvels formerly threatened with obliteration'.
